At the tender age of 20, Udinese’s Emmanuel Badu is already
turning heads throughout Europe as his fine displays at club and
national level have left many impressed with his on-field capability.
Born
in Berekum, Ghana, in December 1990, the versatile midfielder started
off his career at Berekum Arsenal in 2007. His first and only season at
the club saw him earn much praise where he was named in the Ghana
Premier league All Star team for that season.

Ghana's local talents need Africa, Stevanovic
Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has hailed the quality of the Ghana Premier League after watching some recent matches in Accra.
The
Serbian promised to continue giving local players a chance in the
national team, but reckoned that the players will more competitive if
they played more regularly in continental club competitions.
"The door to the national team is wide open all the time and it is never shut on local players," Stevanovic told Ghana Football, the GFA's official newspaper.
